Kelly Rusthoven, the Health Center’s Dining Room Supervisor, has been working on our campus for two years. Before going to the Health Center, she worked at the Avalon and Monterey Dining Rooms. At the Health Center she has 25 servers for the
300 meals that are served each day. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Kelly is a native Californian having grown up in Orange County. She graduated from UCSD with a B.A. degree in communications. At the university she met her husband. They were married a year ago. He owns a restaurant in National City.
She is interested in filmmaking and has made two short films with David Ruiz, our night Supervisor of Environmental Services. They made “Rebel with a Scooter” and “Super Survey Man.” These were shown on Channel 4. They are working on more films about our campus.
We are very fortunate having Kelly at LCG.
